It’s very refreshing to eat it raw on a hot summer day. But you can also stew or fry it. My mom always makes a very nice fried vegetable mix with Kohlrabi, fennel, mushrooms, shallots and paprika :D

Because I liked the original so much, I just don’t see how they can beat it, although I am willing to give it a chance. The original was obviously an allegory about the seductiveness of extreme politics (Nazism in the original, although you could definitely read Communism into it) and I’m not that hopeful that they’ll bring that level of depth to it.

The Wii Fit has a whole range of cardio, toning and balance games, as well as yoga. Some are actually very good fun, like hula-hooping and walking the tightrope.
Games on the Wii Sports are: tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing.
Games on Sports Resort are: swordplay, wakeboarding, frisbee, archery, basketball, table tennis, golf, bowling, power cruising, canoeing, cycling, air sports (flying in balloons essentially).
The original Wii Sports is the better of those two. You can get right good and sweaty in the living room with the Wii tennis racquets. Surprisingly, baseball can work up quite a sweat, too. They’re all two player.
We’ve got a couple of other sports games – Joe Calzaghe Boxing (really quite hard) and the Tennis one they advertise with John McEnroe and Andy Murray (really fecking hard). The Dance-Dance-Revolution type games that we’ve got are limited by the fact that the mats aren’t as reactive as you might like (that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it).
But by far the best game for the entire console is Samba di Amigo [WikiP linky], which is just hilarious.

I like a Wii for the sports thing. It’s alot more realistic as you actually have to do the movements of the sports and no just press A or square or whatever, but I don’t think it plays DVDs..
That’s where a PS3 is so much better. Plays everything (if it’s fitted to play everything.), the gaming is amazing. Plus, you know, R2 with the PG lasses. That’ll beat anything =P
I don’t really like any of the games that this lot all play because I just don’t get the joy of killing stuff. We’ve got the GameCube-style controllers for the Wii for playing platform-y games (okay, let’s be honest, it’s for Lego Star Wars), but I guess it depends what sort of games you want to play, Yeebs.
For me, the joy of the Wii is definitely in the interactivity. We also have a Gamecube and a PS2, but I’m not a huge fan of sitting on my arse and just pressing buttons.
And all our games are shop-bought. Wii Fit and Wii Sports came with the console. Everything else we’ve bought from Game or HMV.
The Wii does not play DVDs, as far as I know (I’ve got DVD recorders and Sky+ in all rooms, so I’ve never needed to know, but I really don’t think they do), but you can use it for the internet, which allows us to watch BBC iPlayer on the downstairs TV through the WiFi.

I have to say I don’t download the games, my dad does and just puts them on top of the Wii for me to try out, lol.
All my PS3 games are story bought. I’ve got 5 games for the Ps3 and only ever play 1 or 2. I waste money like the best of them.

Platform games are ones – usually – where you collect items and involve jumping along platforms (branches, windows, etc). The old Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog are the best known, I guess, but early PS2 Spyro the Dragon games are platform games (the more recent ones are fight games and are all shit). All the Lego films title games (Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones) are platform games.
