In the Swedish books it is done like “Söndag, 1 maj” I have no clue why they did that in the UK version, it bothered me a bit to be honest, as the Scandis would never use Roman Numerals. So, I checked it against the Swedish books that the swede has and found it is done in the normal Scandi way.

“Micke” is more like Micky and the “i” is more like a soft “i”, near to an “e”.
